Barbara Green graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in Kingsville, Texas with a Bachelor of Administration Degree in Accounting, and a Master's of Professional Accountancy in 1996.
Barbara has been a Certified Public Accountant and licensed within the State of Florida since 2000. She has been a staff accountant with Adams & Harper, PA since Novermber 2011. Barbara started her public accounting career with a firm in Sugar Land, Texas in 1996, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1998. Prior to working for Adams & Harper, PA, she worked in the elder care services industry and she has experience in corporate accounting and internal auditing in local SEC corporations.
Barbara works primarily in the audit department, where she performs audit, review, and compilation services. Her experience includes Yellow Book and OMB-133 audits, homeowner associations, profit sharing plans, and a variety of privately-held companies. Additionally, Barbara works with tax preparation and other support services within the firm.
Barbara is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a volunteer and participant in various events for the American Diabetes Association and active in her son's school. She is also a member of the American Business Woman's Association.
